Radix is the first layer-one protocol specifically built to serve DeFi. This protocol is the basis of the Radix public network – a fully decentralized platform for DeFi applications and users. Decentralized finance applications are currently built on protocols that are not fit for this purpose, leading to congestion, hacks and developer frustration. Radix changes this by introducing a scalable, secure-by-design, composable platform with a DeFi centric development environment to make it easy to build and launch scalable DeFi products.
Staking is the process by which crypto holders can earn rewards by locking in crypto currency and participating actively in transaction validation on a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain. With a minimum-required balance the holder of a particular cryptocurrency can be a part of the network and validate transactions and thereby earn staking rewards. This serves as a means to passive income and gives the holder the ability to vote in the network.
We are the technology arm of BCW Group, a fintech focused strategy consulting firm. We build digital asset services on distributed ledger technology for Fortune 500 Companies and Enterprise clients. We offer institutional Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings for clients looking for DPOS network validation & staking, DLT network monitoring & maintenance & ancillary application builds for specific use cases.
Augmenting the usual benefits garnered from staking your XRD tokens on a node. BCW utilizes around-the-world monitoring and redundancies to ensure that nodes stay up. Likewise, if you are staking as an institution, BCW offers a variety of services that can be leveraged to offer XRD staking to your customers.
While staking, your XRD balance will no longer be listed directly on your address. You can visit this link and connect your wallet via a wallet provider to check your balances, stake more, or de-stake.
The fee percentage for BCW Technology validators is variable. However, we will be ensuring early broadcast of any changes at least a month before any large changes and keeping all network members up to date on small ones.
The output of rewards from RADIX itself is based on the number of additional stakers and validators on the network.
There are no minimums to delegate to BCW Technologies RADIX node.
Simply by bonding XRD tokens to our validator, you have nominated BCW Technologies’ validators for rewards.
Currently there is no minimum time commitment. Any updates will be circulated to the delegators.
If you wished to change validators, you would have to unstake and restake as follows:
- submit a request to unstake your tokens;
- at the next epoch boundary, you will stop earning rewards;
- the network will then spend up to a period of a few weeks assessing whether your validator was malicious while your tokens were staked, such as double-voting (on betanet this period will be much shorter for testing purposes);
- Once the network determines nothing malicious was performed, your tokens will then be unstaked, and you will be free to do whatever you want with them, including staking to another validator. (More info here)
