Zenrock is more than a typical Layer1 blockchain, as it is inherently interoperable and comes with a number of products and solutions for developers and users alike. One of these solutions is their Distributed Multi-Party Computation (dMPC) service. This is a unique approach to on-chain security as it leverages a set of operators (in which BCWT is one) to enable users to perform on-chain functions without revealing private data. One beneficiary of Zenrock’s dMPC service is zenBTC.
ZenBTC is a yield-bearing version of BTC on Solana. Under the hood, zenBTC is a DCT — a new asset standard built on zrChain, Zenrock’s purpose-built custody layer. DCTs separate custody from product — enabling secure, composable asset issuance across chains, regardless of what features are built on top.
Another interesting aspect of the network is their zrSign product, tailored for EVM developers. zrSign enables these developers to eliminate the need for bridges by leveraging their dMPC service when taking action on multiple different EVM blockchains.
